Dr. H. Tohidloo is a local Maryland Artist. After 32 years of practicing general dentistry, he retired in 2008 to pursue his life long love of art.

  • Dr. Tohidloo has studied oil painting with Walt Bartman, founder of the Yellow Barn Studio.
  • He has also been a student of oil and pastel painting with Jackie Jouvenal, including additional coursework in watercolor and painting through the lens with Glen Kessler. 
  • Hushang has an affinity for painting en plein air along the C & O Canal and Potomac River. He has painted many originals of land and seascapes within the Maryland region, as well as incorporating landscapes he's captured along his many travels abroad.
  • His work is renowned for its use of color, showing a penchant towards the bold and luscious.
  • The much loved husband and father of two, enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, the study of languages, and living his life in the name of true happiness.​
